African Architectural Adventure

I am going to cycle Africa with a friend and investigate architecture. My trip will begin in Cairo in mid October 2010 and I am expecting it will take around 9 months until July 2011. I will document my experiences and architectural journey sketching and using photography.

About Me

Ny: I live in Malawi, and live as the architect of Landirani Trust Eco Training Village. http://www.africanvision.org.uk/projects/sams-village/ I design and build in rammed earth and other local materials. I also design with locals constantly promoting energy efficient devices using natural resources. Water will be collected stored filtered and reused throughout the 10 acre site.
